Alternative Futures Group named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2025 

We’re delighted to announce that we have been recognised in the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2025 List by Great Place To Work®. AFG ranked 45th best ‘Super Large’ employer and are the only regional health and social care provider in this category.

We’re proud to be recognised for our work to continually develop our offer as an employer of choice. This year we have once again committed to investing in pay to make sure we can continue to pay the Real Living Wage, that we truly believe our talented and skilled frontline colleagues deserve. We have also recently launched a new reward platform, long service awards, EDI initiatives and a salary advance scheme to name just a few of the ways we’re enhancing our recognition and benefits.

As part of the application for Great Place to Work accreditation AFG carried out a colleague survey which had an 85 per cent response rate. Some highlights include:

• I understand how my job contributes to achieving organisational objectives – 85 per cent 
• I have good conversations with my manager – 84 per cent 
• My work has special meaning: this is not ‘just a job’ – 84 per cent
• I am offered training and development to further myself professionally – 81 per cent

Our ranking was revealed at the prestigious UK’s Best Workplaces^™ Awards at Grosvenor House in the heart of London, which are considered the ‘gold standard’ of employer awards. Independently assessed through a rigorous and unique process, those on the list have proved they have created a great workplace culture built on trust, supported by innovative people management practices.
