We’re Officially Certified as a Great Place To Work®!

We’ve been carrying out employee surveys for the last 11 years, and as we’ve grown as an organisation, so have our results. From a response rate of 13% in 2013, we’ve had a phenomenal 88% response rate this year.

It isn’t just the number of colleagues who have had their say which has improved, the level of positive responses in areas such as trust, leadership, personal development, communication and recognition have also been high.  

The feedback of our colleagues has really shaped AFG and we have achieved some amazing things together, starting with securing the financial security of the organisation, Real Living Wage for our frontline colleagues, and now this accreditation. We are committed to continuously developing the organisation through the feedback of our colleagues, and as our values state, “better never stops”. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and happy colleagues enable amazing lives for the people we support. 

What does being Great Place To Work® Certified mean?

The Great Place To Work® accreditation is the only certification based entirely on what employees say about their workplace experience, is recognised worldwide and is the global benchmark for identifying and recognising outstanding employee experience.

To become certified, the survey captures feedback on how our employees feel about working at AFG. There is a requirement to meet a trust index score of 65% and we are delighted to report that we achieved 71% in this year’s survey.
