Helen* is a woman in her 50s who lives in one of our supported living services commissioned by Knowsley Council. When she first arrived with AFG she faced significant challenges with her physical and mental health. She engaged in a range of compulsive behaviours and struggled with symptoms due to her type two diabetes, asthma and COPD.
With support, Helen is now able to manage her conditions and was able to go on a holiday overseas, something she had always dreamed of.
