August 18, 2025

Alternative Futures Group has been recognised in the 2025 Princess Royal Training Awards for our Welcome Induction programme delivered by our dedicated Learning and Development team.

Keren Jamieson, Learning and Organisational Development Manager said: “It’s an honour for our programme to be recognised in these prestigious awards. Our induction is designed to mirror a classroom experience and combines active participation, feedback and personalised learning pathways to build confidence, belonging and role-readiness from day one. By investing in innovative and inclusive training, we’re empowering our people to thrive so they can make a lasting difference to the lives of those we support.”

HRH The Princess Royal, President of the City and Guilds of London Institute, awards employers for outstanding training and skills development programmes which have positively impacted organisations, people and wider society.

Now celebrating a decade of training excellence, The Princess Royal Training Awards honour organisations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to learning and development, and highlight the tangible impact of exceptional training on both businesses and individuals.

Launched in 2016 in response to demand from employers for recognition of excellence in workplace training, more than 1000 training programmes have been put forward for evaluation. Coinciding with HRH The Princess Royal’s 75th birthday, the 10th year of the Awards saw 143 applications, with 57 achieving the prestigious award. This year’s recipients represent a wide range of sectors including construction, hospitality, education and training, the public sector, not-for-profit, and heritage crafts.
