Alternative Futures Group is proud to announce that we have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ 2025 by Great Place To Work® UK.
The UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List recognises companies making employee development a key part of company culture. AFG has officially made it into the top 50 on this list – a huge achievement for our first year. This is testament to the commitment and dedication of our colleagues, along with their valuable input into our annual employee engagement survey. This survey measured the extent to which everyone across AFG feels about our commitment to development, innovation and employee growth, making us a truly great workplace for all.
In our most recent employee engagement survey, we were delighted to find that:
‘84% of AFG colleagues felt they had the opportunity to put learning and development into practice‘
‘81% of AFG colleagues felt they were offered training or development to further themselves professionally‘
To highlight some fantastic development journeys at AFG, we asked colleagues to tell their own stories of growth within the organisation. Find out what they have to say in the video below:
Kirsty Murphy, AFG’s Chief People Officer and COO for Learning Disability, said: “I’d like to thank our colleagues for their ongoing support and hard work. I’m very proud to be part of such an amazing team and I can’t wait to see where our colleagues’ next development opportunities take them!”
